Preferential Origin Reports

To determine the commercial, sanitary, and tax conditions under which goods may enter a destination market, their origin must be established. Non-preferential origin can be certified through one of the procedures offered by the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce. However, preferential origin is of particular interest, as it involves the granting of more favorable tariff treatment for goods traded internationally, in cases where such treatment is established under a conventional or autonomous agreement between the contracting parties.

When raw materials or intermediate products of different origins are involved in the production process, the origin report provides a detailed description of the materials used in manufacturing, their respective percentages, and their countries of origin.
