MedSeaRise

The project FEA-VEE addresses two main challenges of the fashion and textile industries. On one side, the sector faces difficulties in recruiting and retaining skilled workforce with highly technical and digitalization skills. On the other hand, the sector needs to become greener and more sustainable. Fashion is considered one of the most polluting industries in the world with challenges such as energy consumption, water consumption, chemicals, solid waste and carbon emissions (the apparel industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions).
