Breaking silos in the tourism industry: cross domain open innovation supporting the twin transition for SMEs
The primary objective of Cross-Re-Tour is to foster innovation in circular, green, and digital operations within small and medium-sized enterprises in the tourism industry. The project offers access to valuable knowledge, cutting-edge tools, and innovative solutions, while also connecting tourism enterprises with leaders in the green and digital transition from various industries. The project focuses on six business areas: Energy, Water, Transport, Food, Furniture and Equipment, and Plastic—as well as two transversal topics: Staff Nudging and Client Nudging. By facilitating these cross-sector collaborations, Cross-Re-Tour aims to break down barriers and promote sustainable tourism.
