Transformative approaches for sustainable food in tourism
The TASTE project aims to bolster the sustainability and resilience of the European tourism sector by focusing on the intersection of food and tourism. It aims to equip tourism companies with innovative solutions and strategies for sustainable food management, thereby enhancing their capacity to effectively navigate the triple transition (Go Green, Get Digital and Be Resilient). Simultaneously, the project aims to address the increasing demand for more sustainable and enriching tourism experiences within the food tourism sector.

Competitive Call for Collaborative Projects in Tourism and Food
The TASTE project opens a call for SMEs in the tourism sector working with food, registered in Belgium, Italy, Latvia, Slovenia, or Spain. This is your opportunity to participate in the Go Green, Get Digital, Be Resilient Programme, designed for organizations operating at the intersection of food and tourism.
The programme offers the opportunity to collaborate with other organizations, test new ideas in food tourism, and improve your business’s resilience, sustainability, and digital readiness.
What do we offer you?
This call invites SMEs to submit a collaborative project with one or more tourism-related entities. Projects must address real business challenges and/or test innovative ideas related to food in tourism. At least 40 collaborative projects (8 from Spain) will be supported with a total of €750,000 (€150,000 for Spain) in financial support, involving at least 80 organizations.
If your project is selected, you will receive €15,000 in financial support and technical guidance, and you will be invited to participate in international events focused on innovation, with an additional potential of €10,000 for the best projects.
What are the objectives of the call?
The Go Green, Get Digital, Be Resilient Programme aims to select projects that enhance the competitiveness of tourism SMEs by supporting their transition to sustainable, digital, and resilient business models. The programme focuses on developing innovative initiatives in food tourism, enabling SMEs to adopt digital solutions and strengthen their resilience.
