Registration of Exporting Companies to China

Since 2015, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine of China (AQSIQ) has implemented a new registration requirement for exporters of food, beverages, or cosmetics to China. This process requires an additional registration, even for companies that were already exporting to China under the previous system. According to Announcement No. 98/2015, both importers and traditional exporters who manufacture food, beverages, or cosmetics for export to China must complete this additional registration.
